This essay is about Elon Musk, his artificial intelligence company neuralink and the brain chip. At the end of this essay, you will be a genius person about artificial intelligence and our main hero Elon Musk.

So first of all, let me start with;

WHO İS ELON MUSK?

Basically his government name is Elon Reeve Musk. He was born in South Africa in Pretoria.

Elon MUSK
Pretoria

As you guys can clearly see, this is the place where he was born officially. Musk was born to a Canadian mother and South African father and raised in Pretoria. His father’s name is Errol Musk and his mother’s name Maye Musk. He briefly attended the University of Pretoria before moving to Canada when he was 17 to attend Quenn’s University. After this university professors saw that musk is genius. And then, 2 years later, he transferred to the University of Pennsylvania where he received dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and physics. He moved to California in 1995 to begin a Ph.D. in applied physics and material sciences at Stanford University, but dropped out after two days to pursue a business career. He co-founded Zip2 which was a web software company, which was acquired by Compaq, a software company either, for $307 million in 1999. He founded X.com, an online bank. İt merged with Confinity in 2000, which had launched PayPal the previous year and was subsequently bought by Ebay for 1.500.000.000 dolars in October 2002.

So at this point i want you guys to think. You sold a company to other huge company and earned nearly 1.5 billions of dollars. You need a factory to fill this money. Would you even think to start a space, car, Aİ(artificial intelligence) company?

We are talking billions of dollars. Would you even think to go on a treacherous trip?

Let me say for you . NO. Absolutely and clearly the answer is NO.

But if you want to be a billioner like him( his net worth estimated 143 billions of dollars) you must take risk.

And he started his business in the most wild sections. CAR AND SPACE.

You have a lot of money that you can’t even spend. Would you do that? Well he did.

Therefore he started his Tesla Company as a car and SpaceX as a Space Company and Neuralink(our main topic) as an Aİ.

And by the way this guy, Elon Musk, is the richest man alive in the whole World right now. His estimated net worth is nearly 195 billions of dollars.

For everyone in the World, this is a big money. But how big is that? İ know you can’t even imagine it, therefore i’ve just added this photos to understand how big is the money. Let’s imagine, every rice is 100,000 of dollars. And see how billions of dollars look like with rice pieces.

İf you add 194 more billons of dollars worth of rice pieces, it will be Elon Musk’s worth by now.

He paid 70 millions of dolars for Tesla, 100 millions of dollars for SpaceX, and 10 millions of dollars for SolarCity. İ don’t know if you have just noticed but Elon Musk is trying to compose an ecosystem. Besides that, now, he has a artificial intelligence compony. Neuralink.

What is that about? He is trying to make people who can not make basic moves which is head moving, hand shaking, leg stretching or Alzheimer. Yes, you heard right. Alzheimer. A disease that people can’t recognize their memories. But at present, he is trying to make a coherent relation between a computer and the brain. Sounds creepy right? Let’s look at it more deeply. His company makes implant chips. And he put the chip inside of the monkey’s brain. He opened a live broadcasting and showed the people what can this brain implant chip does.

As you can see on the photo monkey made “tiny wires” with the chip in its brain. “It’s not an unhappy monkey,” he said during a talk on Clubhouse, a new social media app gaining popularity that allows people to have informal voice chats while others listen in. “You can’t even see where the neural implant was put in, except that he’s got a slight like dark mohawk.”

Headquartered in San Francisco, Neuralink’s team of around 100 people is trying to develop an implementable computer-brain interface. Musk describes it as a Fitbit in your skull with tiny wires that go into your brain.

He said the aim of Neuralink is to increase the rate at which information can flow from the human brain to a machine. That means, at present, his main goal is get the connection between the computer and the brain. Make some moves with the mouse through the brain singals. FUTURE İS BRİGHT.

He posted this on his official twitter account. We can simply understand from the tweet that his short-term aim is healt problems such as brain problems and spine injures. But when it comes to the long-term problems, he aim becomes artificial intelligence symbiosis.

Last news from the Project that the pig with this chip inside of its brain, made significant singals through the chip.

“It’s kind of like a Fitbit in your skull with tiny wires,” the billionaire entrepreneur said on a webcast.

His start-up Neuralink applied to launch human trials last year.

The interface could allow people with neurological conditions to control phones or computers with their mind.

Mr Musk argues such chips could eventually be used to help cure conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord injuries.

But the long-term ambition is to usher in an age of what Mr Musk calls “superhuman cognition”, in part to combat artificial intelligence so powerful he says it could destroy the human race.

He is planning to destroy all the languages in the world with this brain chip.

‘WE COULD STILL DO IT FOR SENTIMENTAL REASONS’ he said in the interview.

Elon Musk says technology he is working on could render human language obsolete in as few as five years.

Musk said he hoped the company would be able to connect a Neuralink device to a human brain for the very first time within the next year.

“It can interface with anywhere in your brain, so it could be something that helps cure eyesight,” Musk told Rogan, adding: “In principle it can fix almost anything that’s wrong with the brain.”

He went on: “You would be able to communicate very quickly and with far more precision … I’m not sure what would happen to language. In a situation like this it would kind of be like The Matrix. You wanna speak in a different language? No problem, just download the program.“

Therefore, i have to ask this: İs it good or bad?

“I can order my coffee in seven different languages!” This sentence sounds pretty impressive, doesn’t it? But if you were to say that you can order your coffee in 0.1 percent of all the languages in the world, it suddenly sounds a bit more lackluster. If you’ve never bothered to ask, “How many languages are there?”, this statistic can sound improbable. But the fact is that seven languages only make up about 0.1 percent of the linguistic diversity on our planet!

According to Ethnologue, there are approximately 7,111 languages being spoken today, but this number is constantly fluctuating — and this does not include dialects either!

Therefore, couple of questions came to my mind when Elon Musk said “No need to learn languages in 5 years.”

— How can this “chip” translate perfectly all the things?

— How can i get the translation to my ear when the chip inside of my brain?

— Languages are living things. There is culture, belief, religion and experience in them. So, how can this thing translate them correctly?

— İf we learn languages like that, we can learn everything either. Like i want to learn maths. İ download it. İ want to learn quantum physics and i download it. There you go. İt is in my mind.

İf you ask me my opinion, there is no way that this thing works in the near future. Maybe 25 years later but not now.

Humanity, we, can’t even produce a vaccine for the Covid-19. How can we make such a thing like that?

Furthermore, brain is so complicated. Takeaway. Because of the organ’s complexity, scientists are still learning about the brain. The notion that a person uses only 10 percent of their brain is a myth. fMRI scans show that even simple activities require almost all of the brain to be active. The brain is the body’s most complex organ. There are around 86 billion neurons in the human brain, all of which are in use. Each neuron communicates with many other neurons to form circuits and share information.

Prof. Dr. Nancy Lieber-Lazzaro who is studied Human Biology & Creative Writing in English at DePaul University in Chicago says: Yes, the BRAIN! We still don’t know everything about it. It does orchestrate many bodily functions, as well as acting as a storehouse for all of our acquired knowledge, as well as our memories.

The lowly liver-most don’t treat it very well-has MANY functions. It supplies bile, which is vital to digestion; it stores glycogen, a carb compound, which can quickly be released into the blood stream when blood sugar levels get too low. The synthesis of urea — our main protein waste product-is produced here, then sent to the kidney for elimination. Fats are modified for ease of absorption, aided by bile, which the liver manufactures. Bilirubin is a product of the breakdown of red blood cells, and can become toxic if not eliminated via the liver. It is the cause of jaundice, and it the level is too high for too long, can be fatal.

Probably one of the most important functions is to remove harmful products, which include alcohol and some drugs, and other toxins. Both fat-based vitamins and iron are stored in the liver.

Author’s Quote

So, we have learned in this passage who is Elon Musk, where does he come from, what is his net worth, what is his companies, what is artificial intelligence, what does Neuralink do and what is Elon Musk’s goals for the future.

İ hope you like my essay and project.

Giving my best wishes.
